TaylorMade Tour Burner driver

Used by some of the biggest names in golf, including Sergio Garcia, the TaylorMade Tour Burner driver is an intense combination of raw power, advanced physics and unsurpassed control and forgiveness. This driver has received many positive golf reviews.

The new Tour Burner features a smaller, lighter and crown (by 12%) that distributes more mass lower the head. This new design helps shots take off higher, and with less spin, than they do with the previous Burner. The payoff is greater distance.

The TaylorMade Tour Burner driver head's exceptionally high MOI makes it extremely stable and forgiving on off-centre hits. That benefit, combined with the advantage provided by TaylorMade's renowned Inverted Cone clubface technology, results in even higher ball speed on off-centre hits. Inverted Cone Technology, characterized by a shallow cone milled directly onto the inner side of the clubface, changes the way the face behaves at impact so that a larger area of the face delivers higher ball speed.

Continuing TaylorMades unique technology advances, their inverted cone technology gives a faster ball speed from a larger portion of the clubface for long distance and improved accuracy even on off centre hits. Finally pieced together with a 60g Fujikura RE*AX Superfast graphite shaft giving any elite golfer with a fast swing speed more distance and power for exceptional tee shots.

One of the hottest Drivers on the market with a tour black finish and luxury design, a great club for any elite golfer to use and produce explosive power from the tee. The TaylorMade Tour Burner Driver is aimed at the elite golfer who requires not only distance but ultimate playability and workability to shape tee shots and control the ball flight.

Mizuno MP-60 irons

Mizuno is quite often recognized as the best forged irons on the market, on tour and with amateurs as well. And their clubs have always received positive golf reviews. I also have great respect for most of their other types of clubs (drivers, fairway woods, wedges), so whenever I see a Mizuno club, I am confident that the Mizuno name means quality. Anyway, Mizuno introduced the Mizuno MP-60 irons design in 2004/2005 with "cut-muscle". The cut muscle was a small section of the back of the iron that is cut out. The section is cut out in the perfect spot, eliminating any bias the iron may have.

The history of Mizuno's forged blades is long and full of success in the PGA, amateur and pro tours around the world, nobody can deny this. But it was just a few years ago that Mizuno started to produce bigger, and more "sophisticated" forged heads that not only offered superb feel and playability as usual, but now a word that had always been contrary to forged clubs became included in the package: FORGIVENESS.

The Mizuno MP-60 irons Cut Muscle Cavity continues to maximize the performance for today's more aggressive game. The Grain Flow Forged MP-60 is 4% larger and has a 10% larger sweet area when compared to its outstanding Cut Muscle counterpart, the MP-32. The Cut Muscle design in the MP-60 delivers a slightly higher ball flight in the long irons, and a mid trajectory in the scoring irons, while the Cut Muscle design precisely positions the COG in each club for a consistent and predictable ball flight. Manufactured from Grain Flow Forged 1025 select mild carbon steel which provides the ultimate soft, solid, consistent feel. Durable Double nickel chrome plated finish. Modified U-grooves on the Mizuno MP-60 irons produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions. Rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies. In other golf reviews, the MP-60s are also said to be very excellent and trusted.
