TaylorMade R7 CGB MAX irons

TaylorMade vowed to make the new r7 CGB MAX family of clubs to be the very best game-improvement equipment that money can buy, and the TaylorMade R7 CBG MAX irons lived up to that promise. They were praised in golf reviews and hot on the golf market.

Well first off they look great, the tungsten weights at the back are visible and maybe look a bit odd, but they are to highlight that they are there so we can forgive that. The perimeter is chunky, with a thick topline (hollow so they can redistribute that weight) and a wide sole.

The TaylorMade R7 CBG MAX irons have kept the CG low by using a thinner steel face, which is also supposed to raise the COR, and taking the weight from that topline and adding it to the bottom, the tungsten weights help to take all the extra weight and keep it nice and low.

You can see the Inverted Cone Technology at the back of the face, and it has a similar cavity badge to the Burner irons to help dampen any harshness in their feel.

These clubs look very cutting edge. Given that they are TaylorMade, this is not very surprising. TaylorMade always seems to come up with high tech looking club offerings. From the textured black area on the backside of the clubface, to the black steel shafts…head to toe, these irons will look awesome in your bag.

Overall the TaylorMade R7 CBG MAX irons are very forgiving just as they are designed to be, with even the highest handicapper being able to get their shots up in the air and heading where they want them, in 2007 when they were released I probably would have said they were great for high handicappers as many other golf reviews have said so, but low-mid handicappers who need good feel and control will probably have to look elsewhere.

Flexible TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood Review

TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood

The TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood delivers on remarkable flexibility. The new Flight Control Technology takes do-it-yourself personal fitting to the next level. The TaylorMade R9 3-wood earns its asking price with its crisp feel and technological prowess. The R9 golf clubs are ultimately going to help a lot of golfers bomb the ball with newfound precision accuracy.

Eight club head positions are offered in R9 fairway wood.  It takes only a matter of seconds changing from one position to another. It's important to recognise that as the face angle closes, the loft increases; and as the face angle opens, the loft decreases. Thus the TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood is engineered to promote trajectories that are 1) increasingly higher, long-carrying & which move from right-to-left; 2) increasingly lower, more controllable & which move from left-to-right; or 3) neutral, relatively straight ball flight of a mid-level height.

TaylorMade's "new classic" shape is featured in R9 fairway wood's club head, which beautifully combines traditional & contemporary lines to create a club head that's particularly easy to aim & which sets up cleanly & beautifully behind the ball at address. The CG location, meanwhile, is more than 50 percent lower than the similarly sized r7 fairway woods. That's a dramatic difference that helps make TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood incredibly easy to launch. The new classic shape also delivers high MOI for great stability on off-centre hits, which also contributes to the R9 fairways' ease of use. On the underside of the head of these golf clubs an advanced sole design, more rounded & beveled than in previous TaylorMade metal woods, reduces the amount of sole area that comes into contact with the turf.

Golf Reviews On the Callaway X-24 Hot Irons Hot Big Deals

Callaway X-24 Hot irons

With the Callaway X-24 Hot irons, Callaway claims to have created the longest, most accurate X Series iron ever. These irons boast some advanced technology in the golf reviews below.

Callaway designers have introduced the new stealth PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish to the X-24 Hot golf clubs to reduce glare and an impressive, darker look. The X-24 Hot irons also feature Callaway’s VFT Face Technology, a 360-degree undercut channel and a precise centre of gravity to create a large and performance driven hitting area for golfers of all abilities.

Developed for golfers who are looking for a distance gain through the entire set, the Callaway X-24 Hot irons also utilise Callaway’s core technologies including S2H2, Precision Notch Weighting and Modified Tru-Bore. The X-24 Hot is a technologically advanced iron that has resulted in a longer and more accurate set than any of its predecessors. The X-24 Hot iron is available with either the Callaway X-24 Uniflex Steel or X-24 Graphite shafts.

The irons have strong, sharp lines that draw you right in. Most will either love or hate the looks, and I am one that really likes the way they look quite a bit. The splashes of deep red sparkle in the sun as the bag is on the course and the tiny little diablo emblems in the cavity add to the depth even more. The sole is slightly thick, but no more than most game improvement (GI) irons and has a large number for identifying purposes on it. The topline of these golf clubs matches that of the sole and has a sandblasted type of look to it that works well in keeping the sun from producing blinding light off of the chrome.

The Callaway X-24 Hot irons have already been available on the market and received many good golf reviews for their excellent performance.
